- Walking — hilly but rewarding, wear comfortable shoes
- Uber/Bolt — very cheap compared to Western Europe
- Airport: metro red line to center (20 min, €1.50)

Eat pastéis de nata at Manteigaria (not just Pastéis de Belém). Try bacalhau (cod) in any local tasca.
Safety
Very safe city. Normal precautions on tram 28 and in Rossio square where pickpockets operate.
